Every week our small groups (each of between 10 and 18 people) meet at St. Paul’s or in homes across the area, and beyond. In a larger church like St. Paul’s, small groups are immensely important as a place where people can support and love one another. For many, time in one of our small groups is the highlight of the week, or a haven set aside from frantic activity.
It’s a place where prayer, bible study and worship are combined with friendship and fun (lots of it!). It is the best place to get to know other church members better, to support them in their needs, and to draw support and guidance from them.
In addition to the appropriate “looking in” toward group members, Life Groups are increasingly “looking out” to meet the needs of others. This goes well beyond the prayer support offered, and in the past has included such activities as gardening, re-decorating, rubbish removal, etc.
Life Groups are for all, no special entry qualifications needed! If you think joining a group might be for you, please contact the church office for more details.
